 Oracle Global Financials product is part of the financials Applications suite and is central to its globalization and competitive strategy in Europe, Apac and LAD. The objective of the team is to develop and maintain country specific legal Enhancements in Oracle eBusiness suite for Financials. The work involves Analysis, design, development of new functionalities arising out of legislations for countries in EMEA, LAD and APAC regions. These features are very important to make EBS viable in the respective countries, meeting major legal requirements and strong business practices, that are still not covered by core Financial products. Globalization product provides an excellent opportunity to be exposed to a variety of different products within Oracle Finanacials like Payables, Receivables, Assets, General Ledger, SLA, Tax, Procurement, etc...

Preferred Skills:
BS/BE/BTech/MCA/Mtech/ME/MBA degree from reputed institutions
1-3 years of software development/implementation/support experience
Knowledge of software development processes (design, development, and testing)
Understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts, PL/SQL, database concepts
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Good verbal and written communication
Strong motivation to produce the highest quality deliverables in a limited timeframe -- able to work well under pressure.

Desirable:
Experience in E-Business Suite Financials would be an additional advantage.
Basics knowledge in Oracle development tools such as Forms, Reports, Java, OAF, XML Publisher would be an additional advantage 

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

 Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform detailed design based on provided high level design specifications. Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. Build enhancements (including new product features) and resolve bugs. Build and execute unit test and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Interact with QA and porting engineering about problems in the code.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
